I also had a bunch of problems with it for some reason, it would recognize the mods but some of them would just never work in game. My advice is to either manually install it(a lot easier than I had initially thought as most of the time it's just click and drag into a folder) or use the specific dragon age mod manager, which I will link to in a bit , if you don't wanna google it :)
